Add hefty talent to a charming show in an intimate space, and you've hot an unsustainable hit. That's the position that Nautilus Music-Theater's has found itself in with its production of "The Fantasticks."
Director Ben Krywosz's sweet production of the Tom Jones/Harvey Schmidt musical stars high-powered Twin Cities actors Gary Briggle and Wendy Lehr (pictured) as the smitten young lovers as well as sisters Christina Baldwin and Jennifer Baldwin Peden as their respective fathers.
The show, which takes place in the company's intimate performance space in St. Paul's Lowertown neighborhood, has completely sold out. Now, it has been extended into the weekend, with performances
Friday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. during
 St Paul's art crawl.

In addition to Briggle and Lehr, who are married, and the always delightful Baldwin sisters, the cast also includes deft dancer and frolicsome physical comedian Brian Sostek, choreographer for the show, and William Gilness, who plays the charismatic would-be villain.
Pianist Jerry Rubino and harpist Andrea Stern accompany the singers.
